A Pinto for Paint Girl

Paint Girl has always had a fondness for bay Pintos, so I snapped these photos for my hard-working show groom sister who is finally on a little hiatus from work! This was a horse that was at the ranch a week ago. I have no idea what breed of horse he was.

Any ideas?

He was watching something pretty interesting out in the big field.

I will share photos of what he was looking at in my next post.........

What is your favorite coloring of a Pinto or Paint?

He's beautiful! Looks like a spotted saddle horse with that head carriage! Glad to have you back Ranch Girl, love looking at your photos! :)

Absolutely beautiful shots. I guessing a thourobred cross. The head carriage is exceptional.

Gorgoeus, saddlebred cross?

I'd say Saddlebred. Definitely has the head/neck of one. I too love bay pintos, especially tobianos. Grew up riding them so I think I am biased!

Yep, love them bay Pintos! More bay then white. One day I will have one!
It looks like an Arab/Saddlebred, the face has a dish to it and the body and neck look Saddlebred. I work with Arab/Saddlebreds, so I should know this one!! Very pretty horse.

My best guess is a saddlebred or morgan possibly crossed.

My guess would be a tennessee walker or some sort of gaited breed. They tend to have a long head and nose like that.

Yep, the head and neck looks like a saddler's. Quite striking.

I'd guess Tennessee Walker or a Saddlebred.

Quite a handsome devil for sure.
